Our daughter’s engagement party was a joyous occasion.  It was made even more memorable by Chuck Adams and his staff at Take Away Gourmet.We celebrated with 75 guests in our home and because of TAG, it was flawless.  The staff was friendly, polite and above all professional, helping to create an ambiance of warmth and fun.  

The food was delicious, prepared and presented elegantly  It was a true gourmet experience.  Some guests asked, “Who is this phenomenal caterer”?

Cacace/Ferrara wedding 10-2-11

On October 2nd 2011 Jacqueline and Jeremy exchanged personal wedding vows amongst 70 of their closest friends and relatives. The wedding took place at Bergen Countie’s historic Hermitage in Ho Ho Kus NJ. The wedding ceremony that took place on the picturesque property followed by a beautiful reception catered by Take Away Gourmet!…of course! The day was awash with natural fall colors, the weather cool and crisp with a light breeze and the Hermitage was once again a host to one of life’s celebrations!

The guests were treated to scrumptious culinary creations by one of Bergen counties most prestigious off-premise caterers….Chef Chuck Adams and his team of dedicated service staff wowed guests from the moment they arrived butler passing the brides fairytale mix of Champagne, Cactus Pear syrup and Elderflower Liquor. In keeping with the family fun guests were offered a large selection of butler passed savory food options and numerous interactive food stations for guests to be entertained with.

The food and presentation was magnificent.  High quality and everyone says it was delicious.  I confess to not having eaten very much, unfortunately.

 I recognize you were challenged in that space.  But, it all looked beautiful and created the exact atmosphere I imagined.

There are really no more words we can think of to thank you and to let you know how truly amazing we think you are.  From Elena’s party last year, Sophie’s brunch in December brunch to a 40th birthday dinner with friends, every detail always seems to capture exactly what we are looking for (and even things we didn’t know we were looking for).  Each event is different and unique and meaningful.  The dinner last week was absolutely delicious – we are still craving the empanadas and the rack of lamb – and who could forget the chocolate soup and the creme brulee?  You truly thought of everything.  The decor, flowers, table setting – down to the different plates for each course, the votives and the chairs were incredibly thoughtful and made the evening intimate and special with a touch of glam (friends commented they could have been at a Hollywood party).  You make everything so effortless and a pleasure and we look forward to working with you on many many more occasions.
